RBC | As of press time, the shows of Dog, Cat, Poultry, Rabbit and Goat will have known Champions. All of the Horse Show events are completed, yet the competitors will continue to enjoy their passion for horses and stock. Coming on
Thursday morning will be the Swine Show with the Sheep Show in the afternoon. The indoor open judging will be complete by 6 p.m. with the exhibit halls open to the public. Come and see not only the exhibits, but your neighbors, too!
Friday morning will be dedicated to youth activities with the well-attended contests of Pet Rock and Rolling Rock contests and the Rabbit Chase for 2-3 and 4-5 year olds. Cloverbuds will showcase what they have been working on this year. And the small species Round Robin will be open to public viewing. Friday afternoon the cattle divisions will have the show ring.
Saturday will be a day for excitement. The large species Round Robin is scheduled first thing in the morning. The show ring in the 4-H barn will become the sale ring with the buyers’ appreciation luncheon and presale awards early in the afternoon. A packed barn is expected with high public interest and youth anticipation for the Livestock Sale beginning at 2:30 p.m.
The atmosphere of the County Fair is what summer is all about. And it’s here for all to enjoy!
