RBCHS has presentation on music

MEEKER I The Rio Blanco County Historical Society will hold a musical history program on Sunday centered around local music. The public is invited.

The program, to be held at Kilowatt Korner, is titled “Music in Rio Blanco County,” and those in attendance will enjoy hearing stories about past dances in the rural schools and IOOF (Odd Fellows) Hall, early bands, music in the schools and, of course, some live entertainment with Dave Main, Mary K. Krueger and Tom Allen.
Lunch will begin at 1 p.m., and folks are asked to bring a salad or dessert. The presentation will begin at 2 p.m.
