Residents to cut, remove weeds

MEEKER — Town ordinance 221 sec 2 1968 requires owners of land within the town or any agent in charge of such property to cut and remove the weeds, brush, including weeds that have grown along alleys and in the public right-of-way adjacent to such property. A written notice may be served upon the owner or agent and if not complied with between June 10-20 and between August 1-10, the owner may be cited and required to appear in municipal court or the town will cut the weeds and assess a tax  lien against the property on which the weeds and brush have been removed.
