Forest Service employees Ron Taussig and Linn Pettijohn recently retired. A retirement party was held in their honor Saturday night at the Meeker Cafe. More than 100 of their friends, co-workers and family members were in attendance. Ron started his Forest Service career in Meeker as a seasonal employee in 1969.
