On Wednesday, June 5 the Meeker Chamber of Commerce welcomed Firm Foundation Childcare at its grand opening and ribbon cutting.
The kids “cut” cute figures as they handily sliced through the ribbon with their kiddie-sized scissors. They rounded off the ceremony with a cupcake, a little punch and then each child released a balloon for luck!
Firm Foundation officially opened for business on April 1 with just one child enrolled. Today there are 21 infants, toddlers and preschoolers enrolled but they still have plenty of room for a few more! Eventually they plan to care for 40 children in their facility.
