RANGELY — Rick and Audrey Moran of Rangely are this week’s “home of” honorees. The Morans are 13-year Rangely residents. They will be married 27 years March 27.
Rick is a computer programmer for Chevron. Audrey does genealogy research at home.
Rick and Audrey have three children: daughter Laura Fekken, husband Brad and their 2-year-old twin sons, Aiden and Chance of Vernal, Utah; son Robert “Bobby” Moran lives in Rangely and works in the purchasing department of Rangely District Hospital; and son Daniel Moran and his wife Casey of Rangely. Daniel is a computer programmer and also works for RDH. Daniel’s son Sam lives in Oklahoma and visits Rangely.
In their spare time, Rick is an EMT, a volunteer firefighter, enjoys hiking and taking Internet classes. Audrey “loves to read” and enjoys genealogy as both a hobby and as a business doing research for others.
When asked what she likes most about Rangely, Audrey replied, “Small town life. We spent five years in Houston and Rick grew up in Detroit. I grew up in a small town like this in Kansas. I love a small town.”
