General Synopsis:
Male driver was injured on an ATV in the Aldrich Lake area, was transported by personal vehicle to Pioneers Medical Center.
Motor vehicle accident on Highway 64 outside Rangely sent driver to the hospital with injuries.
Wildland fire on County Road 7 caused by lightning destroyed four outbuildings, 12 vehicles and burned 130 acres. Agencies Involved: Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office, Bureau of Land Management, Garfield County Sheriff’s Office. The fire was determined to be lightning caused as a holdover from storms passing through the area earlier this week. No residences were destroyed.
Traffic stop resulted in an arrest for an outstanding warrant from Garfield County and a suspended driver’s license.
The road-sign thief continues to pick up county road signs, this time from Piceance Creek.
