4/23/2025- A 39 year-old male was arrested by Rangely PD for Violation of a Protection Order, Resisting Arrest and Escape.
4/24/2025- A 28 year-old male was arrested by Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for Failure to Appear.
4/24/2025 @ 11:58 am. A 57 year-old male was arrested by Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office for Driving while under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs or both, Failed to Drive in Single Lane, Drank From/Possessed and Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle and Harassment. He was issued a summons, and was admitted into the hospital for medical issues.
4/25/2025 @ 11:07 pm. A 23 year-old male was arrested by Meeker PD for DUI, Drank From/Possessed an Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle.
CALL SUMMARIES
4/21/2025 @ 7:35 am. A single vehicle rollover accident occurred at the 37 mile-marker on Highway 64. Two occupants with injuries were transported to the hospital.
4/22/2025 @ 10:56 am. A theft of several items was reported from an address in Meeker. No suspect information was provided.
4/22/2025 @ 11:55 am. The start of what would be several tires that were slashed was reported in the 1100 block of Garfield St.
4/23/2025 @ 8:52 pm. Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept. responded to the 67 mile-marker on Highway 64 on a report of a tree on fire as a result of someone burning ditches. The fire dept. had the fire out at 9:37 pm and advised the fire may smolder through the night.
4/24/2025 @ 8:02 am. A male party was terminated from work for showing up intoxicated and proceeded to drive away. The employer stated the male was highly intoxicated. A deputy located the vehicle later in the morning and the male was arrested and taken to the hospital. He was issued a summons and admitted into the hospital.
4/25/2025 @ 7:40 am. A crash detection alert came into the Communications Center near the 56 mile-marker on Highway 13. There had in fact been a car vs deer accident. The driver was transported to the hospital.
4/25/2025 @ 11:07 pm. A routine traffic stop by Meeker PD turned into a DUI arrest. The driver was issued a summons and released to a sober party.
