ARRESTS

There were no arrests in Rio Blanco County this week. 

CALL SUMMARIES

1/22/2023 @ 6:45 pm. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely Fire Dept. and Rangely PD with a backhoe that caught fire. 

1/24/2023 @ 7:28 pm. A bull elk was hit by a vehicle on Piceance Creek and had to be dispatched.

1/25/2023 @ 12:57 pm. A Meeker resident came home and believed someone might have been in their home. Meeker PD and Rio Blanco County Sheriff searched the residence and everything was okay.

1/27/20233 @ 9:26 am. Rio Blanco County Communications Center received a traffic complaint regarding a vehicle that was unable to maintain their lane and were driving various speeds on the eastern side of Rio Blanco County. A deputy was able to locate the vehicle and did not witness any bad driving, so therefore no action was taken.

1/27/2023 @ 3:59 pm. A two-car vehicle accident occurred at approximately the 56 mile-marker on Highway 13. No injuries were reported.

1/28/2023 @ 12:59 PM.  A one vehicle rollover crash occurred at the 43 mile-marker on Highway 64. No injuries were reported.
