ARRESTS FOR WEEK OF JULY 11, 2022
- 21 Yr old male arrested 7-10-22 for harassment given $1,000 PR bond 7-11 by Magistrate Shamis
- 20 Yr old Male arrested 7-12-22 FTA warrant given $20,000 PR bond 7-13 by Magistrate Shamis
- 37 Yr old male arrested 7-12-22 False reporting X3 Harassing communication $2,500 PR bond 7-13 by Magistrate Shamis
- 35 Yr old male arrested 7-12-2022 DUI, DUR, Violation of PO $1,000 PR bond 7-12-22 by
- Magistrate Shamis
- 30 Yr old female arrested on FTA warrant $2,000 PR bond 7-13-22 by Magistrate Shamis
- 51 Yr old male arrested FOJ warrant 7-14-22 $150,000 bond set still in custody
CALL SUMMARIES
- 7-11-2022 2:47 am. In the early morning hours, a citizen reported an orange glow coming from the Highland Cemetery. Upon the Officer’s investigation, the orange glow turned out to be the moon.
- 7-11-2022 @ 6:04 pm. A trespass was reported at the River Camp on Highway 13. The suspected trespass vehicle was located a short time later in the Town Limits of Meeker. The male driver was subsequently arrested for DUI, DUR and violation of a protection order.
- 7-12-2022 @ 10:23 pm. A male party was arrested for false reporting and harassing communication s for calling 911 TWENTY-FIVE times in a 2-hour time span on the above date. The male party had placed a total of FIFTY-FOUR 911 calls in a span of 2 weeks.
- 7-13-2022 @ 7:37 pm Assisted Rangely Fire Department with a single tree fire in the 6000 block of Highway 64. The fire was extinguished by the Fire Department.
- 7-14-2022 Two tree fires were reported. The first tree was near County Road 77 on BLM property. The second tree was on County Road 67.
- 7-14-2022 5:48 am- Wildlife was abundant today on the busy highway. Car vs. deer near the 31-mile marker of Highway 13, no injuries to the occupant of the vehicle. Car vs. elk at the 29000-mile marker Highway 13, one occupant had minor injuries.
- 7-14-2022 @ 2:18 pm. At approximately the 21-mile marker of County Road 8. A Track hoe spilled fuel after sliding off the truck it was being loaded on. Clean up of the spill was conducted by a private company.
- 7-15-22 @ 7:08 pm. A runaway ATV rolled out of a driveway on Michael Cir. and hit a transformer box. No injuries were reported and White River Electric was able to deem the situation safe.
- 7-16-2022 8:51 pm Suspicious female party at the Corner Market struggling with basic skills. Female was released to a sober party.
- 7-17-2022 @ 1:08 pm. Backcountry rescue at Marvine Lakes. Male party was located by helicopter and transported for medical treatment.
