RSD welcomes new educators

RANGELY | The start of a new academic year brings a cohort of exceptional educators to Rangely School District Re-4. Each educator, with their unique skills and passions, is poised to create an engaging and enriching learning environment for the students.


Sarah Hepworth takes the helm as the Junior/Senior High School Principal, arriving from Craig, Colorado. Armed with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and additional advanced degrees, Hepworth’s administrative experience promises effective leadership. Outside the school, she indulges in bird watching, water recreation, and global exploration.
Jeff Bollinger joins us as the Junior High Special Education Teacher, having come from Saguache, Colorado. With a bachelor’s degree from Colorado Mesa University and advanced qualifications, Bollinger’s classroom approach is informed by his dedication to special education. When not teaching, he’s an avid sports enthusiast, passionately supporting teams like the Lakers, Dodgers, Broncos and the Rangely Panthers. His cherished family time is equally paramount.
Seth Watson steps into the role of High School math teacher, having relocated from Craig, Colorado. A graduate of the College of Idaho, Watson’s teaching style is marked by his enthusiasm for math and his desire to make it engaging for students. Beyond the classroom, his interests span sports, camping, fishing, and video games.
Levi Vestal brings his expertise to the Junior High and Senior High Social Studies classroom, moving here from Wilkesboro, North Carolina. With a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University, Vestal is passionate about teaching history and making it come alive for his students. His personal interests include hiking, backpacking, and camping.
Bernardo Solis is the new Junior High and Senior High music teacher, making his way from Greeley, Colorado. Holding degrees from the University of Northern Colorado, including a master’s degree, Solis is not only a skilled educator but also a music enthusiast. When he’s not teaching, he enjoys powerlifting, practicing music, reading captivating books, and mastering new skills.
Taylor Bollinger imparts his mathematical knowledge as the Junior High math teacher, arriving here from Lufkin, Texas. With degrees from Western Governors University and Emporia State, Bollinger’s classroom approach is enriched by his passion for math. Beyond teaching, his interests range from spending quality time with family to solving puzzles and watching sports.
Chaselyn Ellis brings vibrancy to the science department as the Junior High and Senior High Science Teacher. Originating from Wilkesboro, North Carolina, Ellis is a graduate of Appalachian State University. Her teaching philosophy is centered around hands-on learning and exploration. Beyond the classroom, she revels in outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and simply being in nature.
Ryan Beauvais is at the helm of the Junior High and Senior High English class, moving to the northwest part of Colorado from Fairplay, Colorado.  Armed with educational credentials from the University of Florida, along with a master’s degree, Beauvais brings a distinctive blend of language arts expertise and a deep love for outdoor pursuits like cross-country and downhill skiing. His commitment to his students is matched by his devotion to quality family time.
Chuck Allred is our new junior high and senior high art teacher, boasting a fine arts degree from Brigham Young University. His classroom becomes a canvas where students explore their creativity. Outside of teaching, Allred immerses himself in a diverse range of hobbies including fishing, hunting, farming, camping and art.
Isadora Watson steps in as the third grade teacher, having moved here from Craig, Colorado. Armed with educational credentials from Fort Lewis College, Watson is dedicated to nurturing young minds. Her hobbies include camping, paddle boarding, and indulging in her artistic flair through painting.
Tammy Bollinger joins as the fifth grade teacher, transitioning from Saguache, Colorado. A graduate of Colorado Mesa University with a master’s degree as well, Bollinger’s classroom is a place of exploration and learning. Beyond teaching, she finds solace in spending time with family, reading, and embracing the great outdoors.
Stephanie Talbot is set to inspire as the new third grade teacher, close to completing her bachelor’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University. Her teaching approach merges creativity and learning. Outside of class, she enjoys traveling, reading, and engaging in family board games.
Lastly, Jessica Dillon takes on the role of Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. With a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s degree underway, Dillon’s approach is guided by her love for music, singing, and creating meaningful connections with her students.

These educators, each bringing their unique blend of expertise and personal passions, are set to illuminate the halls of Rangely Junior/Senior High School, promising an exciting year of growth and learning for the entire school community.
