More than 300 persons were on hand Saturday noon for the dedication of the new Sanderson Park setup and trail head. Taking part in the official opening ribbon cutting were: from left, Katelin Cook, executive director of the Meeker Chamber of Commerce; Zach Clatterbaugh, a member of the ERBM Recreation and Park District board; Mike Weinbrecht, the executive director of the ERBM district; Chad Schneckenburger of the BLM, which worked hand-in-hand with the recreation district to construct the 4.5 mile trail from Sanderson Park to Ute Park on the east end of Meeker, and Stephanie Kobald of the Meeker Chamber of Commerce. Below right, Raychel Jastrem of Meeker finishes the 4.5 mile run.
