DINOSAUR — A crew of eight Student Conservation Association (SCA) members came from across the country to work on the Harper’s Corner and Fossil Discovery trails at Dinosaur National Monument this past summer.
For three weeks in July, the crew constructed a staircase and rock wall, improved drainage and completed other improvements to make the trails safer and more enjoyable for visitors. In all, the crew moved more than five tons of rock.
