Everyone is invited to the Milk Creek Battle Site Sunday, July 14 at 2 p.m. for an afternoon picnic and a chance to view the newly installed interpretive signs. Bring your own picnic lunch. This will be the quarterly meeting of the Rio Blanco County Historical Society. To get to the site, turn right on County Road 15 and follow the road 17 miles to the site, which is on the left.
