Septemberfest 5K run/walk results:

RANGELY I The Rangely Septemberfest 5K run/walk was held Saturday at Elks Park. With the new flat course, the number of entrees doubled to 68 and there were 59 offical finishers. The overall winner was Damian Salais, finishing in a time of 20:50. Eric Heijl from Rangely came in a close second in a time of 20:52. The first-place female finisher was Maray Fillfred. She was 14th overall. She completed the out-and-back course in a time of 23:56. Second-place female finisher was Brielle Carlson of Rangely in a time of 25:42. The youngest finisher was Audrey Patch, 8, from Rangely, finishing in a time of 47:36.
