MEEKER I Meeker Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall No. 5843 is one of the VFW halls nationally taking part in the organization’s annual Voice of Democracy scholarship competition for students nationally.
This year’s topic is: “Why Veterans are important to our Nation’s History and Future,” and the competition has an entry deadline of Nov. 1.
