RBC — With photos still coming in, the deadline for submissions for the “Tribute to our Troops,” a pictorial history of veterans in Rio Blanco County, has been extended to July 7.
There’s still time to bring or send in military-related photos of family members and relatives from Rio Blanco County.
The table-top-edition book will make a unique keepsake, said Mitch Bettis, Herald Times publisher.
“I encourage people to take advantage of this opportunity to recognize and honor their family members who have served their country,” Bettis said.
The book will be available by Veterans Day in November.
Advance copies of the book are available for $24.95, plus $1.62 tax, and can be purchased at the Herald Times office, 592 Main St., Suite 6. After publication, any remaining copies will sell for $34.95, plus $2.27 tax.
“Tribute to our Troops” is sponsored by ExxonMobil, First National Bank of the Rockies, Mountain Valley Bank, Shell Exploration and Production and Williams Production.
