August Piceance Basin tour open to public
RBC I The White River and Douglas Creek Natural Resource Districts will be hosting a Piceance Basin national resource tour on Aug. 13, open to the public. The tour will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., departing from the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds in Meeker.

RBC — The White River and Douglas Creek Conservation District’s 2009 tree program is underway. The Conservation Tree Program enables local landowners to obtain affordable seedlings for windbreaks, wildlife habitat, erosion control, noise or visual barriers or other conservation uses.
