Register now for baseball, softball

MEEKER I The Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation & Park District will not be offering youth baseball or softball (9 years and older) this summer, but will instead be supporting Little League. All registration for Little League should be completed online via a computer, tablet or phone.

ERBM Winter Blast: A Fun Day in the Snow

Nearly 100 take part in Cardboard Derby races MEEKER I More than 100 people attended and 93 participated in the annual Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District’s Winter Blast at Paintbrush Park on Saturday with contestants ranging from the 6-and-under class to those well into their adult years.

More than 20 compete in triathlon

MEEKER I More than 20 kids completed the annual Road Rash ‘n Splash Kids’ Triathlon, sponsored by the ERBM Recreation and Park District. Boys and girls were divided into four age divisions, then swam, biked and ran different distances, depending on their age.
