MEEKER I Todd Young, formerly bank manager of the First National Bank of the Rockies – Meeker office, has been named senior vice president of retail banking. In this new position Young manages the FNBR bank managers at all 10 locations across western Colorado.

Waller posts blog on Post Web site

RBC — Soon after the story appeared last week in The Denver Post, citing First National Bank of the Rockies as one of seven Colorado banks ordered “to clean up their practices,” FNBR President Peter Waller fired off a response, by posting a blog on The Post’s Web site.

CNCC works with FNBR to offer business banking degree

RANGELY — A new two-year business and banking degree program is available now at Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC). Students interested in the banking field can earn an associate’s degree through the program, which will be offered at all five CNCC locations in western Colorado, as well as online.
