WRBM ramps up Fourth of July events

RANGELY I The Western Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District (WRBM) ramped up its Fourth of July offerings for the second year running, coming away with definite winners and plans to change timing details in the future.

On thin ice…

Thin ice and thick ice on Kenney Reservoir, east of Rangely, offer a stark color contrast with the flow nearest the dam taking on an emerald green hue while the remaining thick ice at the upper end of the lake remains solid white.

Icebreaker…

There was a break in the ice on Kenney Reservoir last week but winds and warm weather have since melted all the ice on the local recreation area.

Lakeside Cafe is owed by Lisa Hodges and is open Thursday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Stop in and see all that the Lakeside Cafe has to offer.

Lakeside Cafe opens again

After a two-year hiatus, the Lakeside Cafe at Kenney Reservoir is open again. Lisa Hodges opened the Lakeside Cafe before Memorial Day weekend. It will open each week on Thursdays through the weekend.
