The first week of January saw Meeker 4-H Program Coordinator Carley Smith visit Kay Bivens’ library class demonstrating STEM (Science. Technology, Engineering and Math) activities to first through fifth graders. The theme for this week’s presentation was engineering, focusing on building model ski jumps.

MHS art show at elementary school

MEEKER | Art students at Meeker High School will be holding their annual High School Art Show all next week in the Meeker Elementary School library, and the school art program is inviting the public to visit the show.

MES reading challenge ends with goat kisses

MEEKER I January was book-crazy at the Meeker Elementary School Library. It was an entire month of fun things focused around the library, and this year the theme was STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
