MEEKER I “It was neat to see Cody get a win,” Meeker’s head wrestling coach Joe Gutierrez said of his 103-pound freshman Cody Pfau, who became the second girl to ever win a match in the Colorado State Wrestling Championships, held last weekend in the Pepsi Center.

MEEKER I “It was fun,” Cowboy wrestling coach Joe Gutierrez said of a tournament last Saturday in Kremmling. “We’re starting to gel together.” Because of injury and eligibility, only five wrestlers competed, but Gutierrez said most of the wrestlers traveled to the West Grand tournament.
