MSD looks at salaries, evaluations

MEEKER I The Meeker Board of Education took a look at teacher salary comparisons following a two-hour executive session to finalize evaluations of district Superintendent Mark Meyer and BOCES Executive Director Teresa Schott of Rangely on March 3.

Meyer: Four day week has saved $70,000

MEEKER I At their work session on Feb. 17, the Meeker Board of Education began discussing the budget for fiscal year 2015-16. School district superintendent Mark Meyer reported that the four-day school week produced a savings, from July through December, “not necessarily all-inclusive,” of roughly $70,000.

Meeker school superintendent Meyer resigns

MEEKER I Mark Meyer, the superintendent of schools in Meeker, kicked off the open public forum at the Meeker Board of Education meeting Tuesday evening by reading a letter of resignation to the board, the few teachers and a gathering of citizens who were present.
