10U baseball team rebounds to 2-2 record
MEEKER — Meeker’s 10-and-under baseball team has played four games so far this season and are currently 2-2. Meeker beat Parachute in the season opener, then lost a doubleheader to Rangely before beating New Castle.
Cowboys win five in Gold Crown tourney
MEEKER — High school basketball coach Klark Kindler took 10 players to the state capitol last week to compete in the Gold Crown team tournament. The Cowboys won five of eight games, in gyms ìall over the Denver area,” according to Kindler.

MEEKER — Six Meeker High School wrestlers and their new head coach traveled to Pagosa Springs for a four-day wrestling camp, featuring clinicians from the Olympic Training Center (OTC).
