Biz scholarships available

RBC I Rio Blanco County, the Town of Meeker, private investors and the Meeker Chamber of Commerce are offering scholarships for area business owners who are interested in attending an intensive workshop to assist small business owners helping to transform their business and their community, into a destination location.

Better City contracts signed by Meeker, Rio Blanco County

RBC I Earlier this month, Rio Blanco County and the Town of Meeker signed a contract to run through the rest of the year with Better City LLC for the facilitation of strategies for Better City’s “Economic Development Strategies Phase IV Report—Recommended Action Plan.”

RBC I A community meeting related to Craig and Meeker will be held June 3 in Craig, involving officials from Rio Blanco and Moffat counties to discuss the situation surrounding the Colowyo Mine.
