RANGELY — For all of you who stepped out and weathered the rain, we were sorry to have had to cancel our contest.

RANGELY — Rangely Arts Council’s second annual “Art in the Park” art show at Septemberfest featured the work of 19 artists. The participating artists showed their work, which included paintings, pastels, photographs, stained glass, carved antlers, and even a woven piece. RANGELY — The Septemberfest Art Show will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday at Elks Park. All work submitted for the show with the appropriate entry fee will be included in the exhibition. Each artist may submit a maximum of three pieces.

Pet costume contest dresses up Monday RANGELY — Dogs with sunglasses. Cats wearing clothes. Dressed-up animals will make a fashion statement at the pet costume contest during Septemberfest.

Septemberfest features pair of car shows RANGELY — There’s nothing like hot cars to heat up an event. Once again, Rangely’s Septemberfest will include a car show. Actually, two car shows. A staple of Septemberfest has been the car show in Elks Park.

RANGELY — Last year was a first for the Septemberfest ranch rodeo.

RANGELY — Labor Day weekend signifies the end of summer. It also means it’s time for Septemberfest. The three-day community celebration, which started with a free picnic in 1974, will once again offer a free meal. And a whole lot more.
