WRBM proposes to service school district’s sports
RANGELY I The Western Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Parks District (WRBM) has proposed entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Rangely School District, where the WRBM would expand its services to take over primary fiscal responsibility for all of the school district’s athletics and extracurricular activities.

Rangely fishing derby set for June 7
RANGELY — The Rio Blanco Water Conservancy District, Rio Blanco Metropolitan Parks and Recreation District and Colorado Division of Wildlife, in conjunction with the State of Colorado Free Fishing Weekend, have scheduled the annual fishing derby for Saturday, June 7.
Elks plan ‘Youth Week’
RANGELY — The benevolent and protective order of the Elks has designated the first week in May as Youth Week to honor America’s junior citizens for their accomplishments.

An organizational meeting for the youth travel baseball/softball season will be held Monday, April 28 at 6:30 p.m. Any parents who have kids participating in the program are encouraged to attend as well as anyone who may be interested in coaching, umpiring or score keeping throughout the season.
