On Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, in the high desert of Colorado, guitarist and composer Bill Frisell and filmmaker Bill Morrison projected film images onto the stark landscape and the sides of the seven-story tower known simply as “The Tank.” The extraordinary structure was the backdrop for a sold-out audience seated under the stars. A live sound and image performance exploring its history as an embodiment of the American West. Frisell delighted the audience with an original score. It was an unforgettable experience for the select audience.
