RBC I Three Rio Blanco County residents finished well in Colorado State Fair events involving shooting, the last event to be reported this year from the fair, held in Pueblo.
Bradi Bland of Meeker placed in four shooting events, including taking fifth in the senior .22 scope class. That finish brought with it an invitation to shoot on the national team, an extreme honor.
In addition to that placing, Bland captured eighth place in senior .22 three-position international class, 12th in senior .22 four-position sporter class and and 20th in individual senior .22 rifle hunting class.
In addition to Bland, Meeker’s Ty Dunham finished 49th in the individual senior trap class and Andy Kracht of Meeker finished 41st in the individual junior .22 rifle hunting class and 55th in junior .22 scope class.
