RANGELY I November is Premature Babies Awareness Month, and Rangely High School’s FBLA Chapter is doing a “No Shave November” competition between four teams to raise money for The March of Dimes, an organization dedicated to raising money and awareness for families with premature babies.
Each team will receive donations and pledges from local businesses, students and citizens. The team that raised the highest amount by Nov. 25 wins the privilege of shaving the losing teams’ beards
The shaving will take place at the Rangely Rec Center during the high school recreation night.
Many businesses, such as True Value and White River Market, have jars on their store counters for people to put donations into. All the money raised from the jars and the no-shave competition will go to the March of Dimes.
