MEEKER I Having served on the Pioneers Medical Center Board of Directors for the past four years, I have been able to see what really goes on in the hospital and how much work is put in behind the scenes. We have excellent providers and a tremendously talented staff, without these people Pioneers Medical Center would not be the place that it is today.
In these past few years, I have been able to be a part of the expansion and growth of the hospital. We have placed the sleep center and the advanced orthopedic center into the hospital. I am very proud of the people that pulled the strings and started the process of being able to place these centers into our hospital. Both of these centers bring a lot of revenue in and make it a better facility. I feel very honored to have been a part of this and see the improvements, just since I’ve been on this board.
We get to have the ability to know that our hospital is one of the best rural facilities in the western part of the United States. I personally feel that our hospital wouldn’t have this recognition if our board hadn’t brought in the staff that now works at Pioneers during my term.
In the last two years, we have worked very hard to put a pharmacy on our hospital campus, and we are overjoyed that it finally happened. I feel that this will help our patients as well as our community tremendously.
I enjoyed being able to serve on the board for the last four years. At this time I would like to ask for your vote to allow me to be reelected to the Pioneers Medical Center Board of Directors.
