RBC | As Coloradans receive their ballots this week, Secretary of State Wayne Williams wants to remind them of tools available this election season.
Voters are able to register to vote online at www.GoVoteColorado.com. The site also offers the ability to update your information, change party affiliation, check ballot status and find a polling location.
“I’m proud to say that Colorado has the highest percentage of registered voters in the country,” Secretary Williams said. “I think it’s because we’ve made it very easy to register and to vote.”
Colorado has been named the safest state to cast a vote. There is a paper ballot for every vote cast, post-election audits are conducted, and a variety of exercises that test the security and preparedness of elections. Another tool that is available is through your smartphone. Simply text “CO” to “2Vote” (28683) and choose from the available prompts: register to vote, look up my info, dates and deadlines, where and how to vote, FAQs and report a voting issue.
