This weekend the Rangely Panthers traveled to Kremmling, Colorado, to a Jamboree Scrimmage hosted by the West Grand Mustangs. The Panthers played well and the coaches were pleased. The team played five scrimmages against West Grand, Denver Christian, Sanford, Daysprings Christian and Front Range Christian. Both JV and varsity got a lot of reps and found out they still have a lot to work on. The Panthers are gearing up this week to travel to Norwood Friday for their season opener against the always tough Norwood Mavericks. Rangely has five seniors this year and are returning two starters from last year as they had a senior heavy 2018 group. Coach Fortunato is extremely excited about this young group because they have worked very hard to takeover for that group of seniors.
