RANGELY — Diane Russell is working part- to full time. She is married to Dallas and has eight children. She has lived in Rangely since April 2007, moving from Johnstown, Colo. She is an experienced mom and grandma. About working at Giant Step, she says, “I’ve learned a lot about the needs of different kids and how each individual child is different. You absolutely can’t treat all children the same across the board.”
Kendra Palmer hails from Texas. She, her husband Chris and her 2-year-old daughter Kaylee have lived here since September 2007.
“I’ve adjusted to living in Rangely and I love working at Giant Step since that is what I am going to school for.”
Kendra is actively pursuing an associate in early childhood education through online classes at CNCC.
Giant Step’s hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Please call ahead to ensure space availability. Also, please call if you will be late picking up your child. Late charges will apply.
Check out our garden — we have tomatoes, pumpkins, cucumbers and sunflowers. The kids have loved picking tomatoes almost daily and eating them. We have been measuring the pumpkins and tracking their growth. We ate our two cucumbers and the kids are asking for more. Aren’t the sunflowers looking sunny? Thanks to Jim Merkel for tilling the garden.
