Veteran’s Corner: Write your Congressmen

In 1979 my 1st Sgt. told me, “When you have tried following the proper channels and gone up the Chain of Command then you can write your Congressman. Please feel free to copy my letter and share your thoughts with our Congresswoman, Lauren Boebert. She is first rate.

My wife recently renewed her Military Spouse ID card (that she has had since 1984), everyone of the USAF personnel that we dealt with were top notch. Unfortunately my wife had to drive from Meeker to Colorado Springs to accomplish the mission. Meeker is blessed with a large veteran and military spouse community; they are not getting any younger and travel can be very difficult. The Veterans Administration (VA) hospital in Grand Junction has telehealth capability as do Craig and Glenwood Springs. I believe this could be adapted to coordinate with the ID system in Colorado Springs.
