Margaret Granzella, owner of Vital Awareness LLC, has provided the Meeker community with professional massage, movement therapy, and holistic lifestyle coaching for nine years. After several years upstairs in the Hugus Building, last spring she relocated to a new space at 685 Main St., Suite #5A. The new space is an easily accessible, ground-level suite, and the layout within has provided her with the ability to make her business sauna available to her existing clients.
Granzella is holding walk-in hours on Tuesdays from 4-6 p.m. (check social media for updates to these times) as a more clinical approach to getting people the hands-on care they need without needing to book an appointment weeks in advance.
“A lot of people get a hold of me looking for an appointment the day of, and I normally can’t accommodate those requests because my schedule is already full. I hope this will help relieve some of that pressure for everyone involved,” Granzella said.
Because of the therapeutic nature of massage in terms of health and wellness, clients can use their Health Savings/Flexible Health Savings account debit cards for payment. However, Vital Awareness does not bill insurance.
In addition, Vital Awareness offers more than professional massage services. Granzella is also a movement therapy and holistic lifestyle coach. Her “Functional Fitness” program is a one-on-one personal training approach where Granzella helps her clients reach mobility and health goals.
“We create a fitness habit. So they are accountable, they show up, they do the best they can while they’re there.”
This service is often done at the Meeker Recreation Center or in the parks. Helping people go from couch potato to 5K is often the outcome of these sessions and Granzella is proud of the program and her clientele.
With 16 years as a massage therapist and 10 years in the fitness industry, Granzella is an alternative healing cornerstone in our community.
