It was a quiet week for Cowboy volleyball, with only varsity hitting the court, they made a quick trip to Walden to take on North Park.
“Another good win,” began head coach Greg Cravens.
In fact the team only allowed 40 points in the three sets, winning 25-9, 25-17, 25-14
“I’m very proud of the small adjustments the girls make during a match,” said Cravens. “The small gym makes us better at passing and defense, and the girls did well.”
Two big matches this weekend with Olathe and West Grand, both playoff teams, and the final games of the league teams before the Cowboys travel to Buena Vista for a tough end-of -the-season tournament.
“Please come out for both matches as the team gets ready for the playoffs,” wrapped up Cravens.
Friday the games against Olathe will be at home beginning at 6 p.m. and Saturday West Grand, which is senior night, will be at home at 1 p.m.
Everyone with a varsity jersey was able to get some playing time and the stats are as follows:
