MEEKER I At a regularly scheduled Yellow Jacket Water Conservancy District Board meeting on Feb. 2, 2012, Trina Zagar-Brown of Cooley Zagar-Brown, PC, resigned as secretary counsel to the Yellow Jacket Water Conservancy board of directors. Zagar-Brown resigned pending appointment of interim counsel.
Zagar-Brown was appointed by the district board as secretary counsel in 2007. Zagar-Brown stated that the recent increase in work requires more time than her professional schedule will accommodate. She stated that she has truly enjoyed her time with Yellow Jacket and it has been a privilege to work with this dedicated board. As secretary counsel, Zagar-Brown worked with the board to reinvigorate Yellow Jacket’s mission to preserve and develop water storage within the district for the benefit of the district’s local water users.
At a scheduled board meeting on March 22, 2012, the Yellow Jacket Board approved the appointment of the Balcomb & Green, PC firm as interim counsel for the Yellow Jacket Water Conservancy District.
