MEEKER I The Meeker Chamber of Commerce is now accepting entries for the Range Call Parade, to be held at 10 a.m. on July 4 in downtown Meeker.
The parade will have the theme of “The Race is On.”
For more information, contact the Meeker Chamber of Commerce at 878-5510 or stop by the chamber office at 710 Market St. to pick up an application.
The four categories that will be judges of parade entries are: Best of Show, Most Creative, Judges’ Choice and People’s Choice. Plaques will be awarded to the winners.
Capturing Best of Show last year was the U.S. Forest Service; Most Creative Float award went to Pioneers Medical Center; People’s Choice award was won by the Range Call CanCan Girls; Judges’ Choice winner was the White River Inn; and the winner of the Best Car award went to Mike Hoke.
