RANGELY I Sunday’s 2010 Rangely 4-H Achievement Night celebrated the clubs’ successes.
While 4-H members and their families enjoyed a potluck dinner, the Panther Country 4-H Club, Chipigitt, Cloverbuds, Makin’ Bacon, and Fish Buddies 4-H Club were recognized for 100 percent completion. The Muddy Mutts Dog Club and the Scrapbooking Club had 75 percent completion.

Some of the night’s other highlights were the Rio Blanco County 4-H Foundation awards. Tessa Slagle was the Outstanding Senior 4-H Member, Cheyenne Steele was the Outstanding Intermediate 4-H Member, and Kaylee Mecham was the Outstanding Junior 4-H Member. Parent of the Year Award was given to Daniel Lapp and Crystal Ducey. The Leader of the Year was presented to Bonnie Long for her 15 years as a 4-H leader. The Friend of 4-H Award was given to Frank Huitt. The Outstanding Indoor Project Exhibitor was given to Tessa Slagle and the Outstanding Outdoor Project Exhibitor was presented to Shelby Neiberger.
The Rangely 4-H would like to thank all the supporters of Rio Blanco County 4-H, including the Lions Club, Encana, Bellco, White River Electric, and Chevron USA, just to name a few. Also thanks to the council officers and their parents for all of their help preparing for Achievement Night.
