Body found in apartment

MEEKER I Jennifer Starling, 41, was found dead in her apartment by two friends July 26 after Starling did not respond to phone calls or knocks on her door.Rio Blanco County Coroner Dr. Albert Krueger said an autopsy has been completed and the cause of death will not be known until toxicology results are received in three weeks.According to a friend, Starling had surgery on her foot in Grand Junction July 25. Starling grew up in Millry, Ala., and moved to Meeker July 2, 2010, from Charlotte, N.C.“She loved it here,” her friend said of Starling’s feelings about Meeker.Both Starling’s parents are deceased and she is survived by a younger brother.Starling’s cremains will be buried next to her parents in Millry, Ala.A memorial service for Starling will be held Monday, Aug. 8, at Grace Bible Church in Meeker at 7 p.m.
