RBC I Monday, March 8 is an opportunity to get to know the Meeker Town Board candidates.
The Meeker Chamber of Commerce and the National Honor Society at Meeker High School are co-sponsoring a public forum for the Town Board candidates on Monday at the Fairfield Center in downtown Meeker, beginning at 6 p.m.
There are five candidates for the three open seats on the board, and each will give a brief presentation and answer questions provided to them before the forum.
The lone incumbent running for a seat on the board is Travis Day, who was appointed to the board in February 2015, while the challengers are Jason Dunham, Wendy Gutierrez, Melissa Kindall and Chris Lockwood.
