Rowlett injured in Texas auto accident
MEEKER I Dakota Rowlett, who was graduated from Meeker High School in May, was involved in an automobile accident early Monday morning in Texas, where he attends Stephen F. Austin State University at Nacogdoches. He was driving from Center to Nacogdoches when the accident occurred.

24th annual Meeker Classic Sheepdog Championship Trials
Stock dog handling demonstrations, using ducks, will be presented by Chris Jobe at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the sheepdog trials, part of the schedule of events at the Meeker Classic, which began Wednesday and will run through Sunday at Ute Park.
