Dear Editor:
Pioneers Healthcare Foundation, Pioneers Medical Center and the Borchard family are excited to announce the 2013 The Kris Borchard Strive for Excellence scholarship is available for graduate and master’s programs in a healthcare field. (i.e. physician, masters in nursing in a specialized field, anesthesiology assistant, physical therapist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, physician assistant, psychologist, pharmacist, etc).
If you know of any of an area resident, or a past Meeker High School graduate that is seeking an education in healthcare and is pursuing a master’s program in the field, please get the word out that this scholarship is seeking applications.
Scholarship applications can be downloaded at www.pioneershospital.org on the home page, under “news.” Applications must be returned to Margie Joy at Pioneers Medical Center by 5 p.m. on April 5, 2013. For more information contact Margie Joy at 970-878-9317.
