RBC I The White River Electric Association and Tri-State Transmission are hosting “TGIF Meeker” events on Friday to get area residents out and about to disseminate information and gain public comment on the environmental permitting process for the Collom Area Development Project at Colowyo Mine.
Residents are urged to shop locally and to enjoy Music on Main.
For the project info and to gain comments there is a time set aside from 3 to 5 p.m. at Meeker Library and other local businesses; and from 5 to 6 p.m. at Meeker High School
Information and refreshments will be hosted by Rio Blanco County and the Town of Meeker.
From 6 to 8 p.m., there will be free live music and appetizers at Holliday’s Restaurant at the intersection of Park and Seventh streets.
