MEEKER I The 2014 Meeker Gift and Craft Show, featuring the talents and accomplishments of local and area artists/artisans, is Saturday at the Rio Blanco Fairgrounds.
The annual gift and craft show is a great time to pick up one-of-a-kind gifts for the upcoming holidays and handmade decorations for the home.
The show will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is sponsored by the Ladies Social Club of Meeker.
The cast of “Hansel and Gretel” will perform at 11:30 a.m., adding to the enjoyment of the event.
There is a great variety of vendors this year, organizers say. There will be many quality gifts, home décor and holiday decorations.
Vendors will also be selling furniture, repurposed items, antiques and collectibles, stained glass, homemade jewelry and accessories, soaps, hand-sewn, crocheted and knitted items, baked goods, Christmas decorations and wreaths, baskets, cards, original art and more.
There will also be vendors selling Scentsy and doTerra Essential Oils and Pampered Chef items.
The Meeker Christian Ladies group will be serving breakfast and lunch on Saturday. They will be offering homemade pancakes, egg and ham breakfasts and shredded beef sandwiches for lunch.
This is a great opportunity to get some or all of your Christmas shopping done as you support talented local crafters and artisans, see old friends and have a great meal.
