Letter: Fritzlan’s will be closed to the public

Fritzlan’s Cafe is closed to the public this year. Due to gas prices and economy, we had less drop-ins last year. Also, help is hard to find and keep that will stay until after hunting seasons are over.
We send a heartfelt thank-you to all our customers who have supported this small cafe since 1975 when we first opened a food service in the location then known as Sizemore Resort.
We built Fritzlan’s Resort in 1980 and opened the cafe and cabins.
We will miss all of your everyday smiles and stories you brought with you to the cafe. We hope you still drop in and visit over coffee or iced tea. Our treat.
Our cabins, trailer court and picnic area will remain open and operating through the summer and fall until Nov. 15.
