Letter to the Editor: Apology from Neenan

Dear Editor:

I am deeply disappointed and concerned about the structural engineering issues at Meeker Elementary School. I personally apologize to the Meeker community, students and parents for putting you in this position. It makes me sick to think of the trouble we have caused you.We are committed to the safety of the students, staff and community members; I assure you that we will do what it takes to make this right. The Neenan Company will pay for all moving expenses so there is no financial impact to the school district’s budget.We continue to work closely with the Meeker Board of Education and school officials and are responding to their every request. We remain committed to fixing this situation and minimizing its impact on education.We recognize the urgency of this situation and have made its resolution our company’s top priority. In our 45-year history, The Neenan Company has always accepted responsibility for our performance.
