Dear Editor:
Thank you so much to everyone who provided support and compassion after Conrad (Conch) passed away so suddenly.
We were honored and touched by the outpouring of sympathy from family and friends in the communities of Steamboat, Craig and Meeker, and to find out how many people loved Conrad.
Thank you to Len Browning for the touching funeral service and the VFW and American Legion for providing military honors at the cemetery.
Thank you to Elaine Deupree, Doug Field and Kevin Dellit for the beautiful music. We greatly appreciate the First Congregational Church for providing a beautiful space to hold the service, and a wonderful lunch thanks to the hospitality group.
Jesse Arthurs at Grant Mortuary made things easier for us by guiding us through the process and the family really appreciates the compassionate kindness of the ambulance crew and Dr. Watson at The Memorial Hospital.
Conrad was an important part of many people’s lives and he will be greatly missed.
